I would agree, have a skilled finance lawyer or major accounting firm review----most of these types of offers are pure scams.
Your banker can also give you his opinion. |

1. I have personal experience with banks accepting this and have knowledge of debt being discharged. again in a previous post I said research is good. But blanket statements such as this are beyond ignorant! Last edited by macua; Sep 13th, 2008 at 06:35 PM. |

Having practiced banking and real estate law for the past 31 years, I laughed out loud when one of my banking clients sent me the bonded promissory note package. I told the banker it doesn't constitue payment but, for s**ts and grins, to present it to the Fed window for payment (the "bonded promissory note" says that's where it's payable). Response: the Fed laughed pretty hard too; and they turned over NO money to my bank.
Paying a promissory note with another promissory note (or draft/check), no matter how denominated, doesn't constitute payment unless, when presented for payment at the place designated for payment, is honored. Beware. |

I like the way you think and the research you have done just reinforces the research i have done as well. i have learned the bonds exactly as you are stating it. I do have a question, can you use a bond to purchase real estate, or do you purchase and then write the bond. please respond and thank you.

I heard you need to already have the mortgage and then the bond is drawn up and sent off for for the treasury to determine if it is a valid instrument. then once they okd it usualy by no response .,if it was bad paperwork they will let you know from what iv heard and read. then you send out your paperwork to you places where you have contracted with then its the how much you know and how much they know commerce game to get them to monitize them? thats the part where im at?
