I think if people don't like my tours they are not going to pay me. Our business has operated for over ten years!!
get rid of this ridulous effort!!! write your legislator, or the newspaper __________ Philadelphia, the city best known as the site where the Declaration of Independence was signed, is in danger of tarnishing its reputation as being the pillar for free speech. A federal lawsuit filed today on behalf of three Philadelphia tour guides seeks to overturn a law passed in April that would make it get this illegal for anyone to give tours of the city without passing a test and obtaining a government license. Welcome to America. |

Bravo Philadelphia tour guides! I support you 100%.
I work as a tour director and have seen the regulations get stricter and more ridiculous each year in many cities. In Savannah for example, guides need a license, tour buses need a permit and now groups pay a "sidewalk tax" per person. I guess that's so that they can walk on the sidewalks... In New Orleans, large groups are no longer allowed on walking tours in the French Quarter (so now the tour groups don't go to the French Quarter, they tour outside of it and let the people visit during free time). Soon the government will be policing what we say and we will be fined if we stray from the script. |

Yes!! When you are getting the Tour License, i think you need to get approval from the Lawyers or Attorneys. So don't get in search for them. Just post your request on Mineeds.com and Attorneys or Lawyers will post their bids on your needs. I just got it and now he is working as my family lawyer.
