we adopted a dog through a "rescue". the dog had a genetic problem that was misrepresented on our contract. the dog was also sick with parasites and as far as we can tell never was brought to the vet prior to adoption (it was on our contract that the dog was seen by a vet prior to adoption). we have no interest in giving the dog back to this unethical person but were wondering if this might constitute "breach of contract" on the rescue's part. what steps would we need to take to disolve the contract entirely?
thank you in advance |

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... or you could void the contract and give the dog back.
