We have a contract dispute with a NY State Corporation, but they have now told us the corp was dissolved shortly after they were informed of the dispute (I assume they did this so they could avoid dealing with the dispute).
On the NY Dept of State website the corp is showing as inactive (no mention of dissolved), but there is still an address showing for DOS Process. Is it possible to file against such a corporation? Also when "de-activating" the corporation, would they not have had to confirm there were no outstanding disputes/liabilities? Any info you could give would be helpful. Many thanks in advance. |

You cab still file suit and you could even name the officers and directors if you feel they are misusing the corp to commit fraud or to unfairly hide personal liabilities.
