I recently won an online auction conducted by Government Liquidators. Government Liquidators is a sales agent for Department of Defense surplus property.
After being declared the winner, the auction company charged my credit card and issued a paid invoice. The auction item was a 22’ sailboat.
I called to make arrangements to pick-up the property. I was told that the government was holding up delivery until they received an End-Use Certificate. I don't think this is true.
This requirement was not mentioned at the time of the auction. They have dozens of boats coming up for auction and none of them required a EUC.
My question is; who owns this boat?

Report that to the police. It is normally a common scam. Cancel the charge.
