Is noncompete valid?
I signed a noncompete at a salon in Minnesota, however i did not sign it until 1 year into my employment. I've heard that it is not valid if it was not signed at the beginning of the employment relationship. Is this true and will it hold up in court, if so am i able to work 1 block away from the old salon and take my clients with me?

If reasonable they are valid in most states.
Competing right next door usually is something that will hold up in court. |
