EEK! indemnity agreement

I signed a bonding indemnity agreement for my brothers business 2.5 years ago and now they are having trouble and a tax warrant has been issued towards their bond. Since I signed it the bonding agent tells me I am still liable even though I have not renewed my signature since the first year. Is this legal?

Default Re: indemnity agreement

Check the terms carefully; if it was a one year agreement and did not renew, you are not liable.
