> i tray to repeet my quastion because tomorow wiil have a discution about this case then that itis meem i wil keep my job or lose i had an issue at work which i understand i wasn"t rait but i need a profesional help because i can loose my job;my responsobility at work was ti make shure the special items are sended to the store then i had them rady for the pikers.One picker[was a women] unloaded her staf on wrong palet then idid grab her by the hand toshow her the right palet,can this act be consider a sexual harasment then whaot ican do to keep my job > what should i do because thei will ask to sighn a paper . |

I wish to inform you that Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has described in detail what constitutes sexual harassment in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Sexual harassment comprises of sexual advances which are unwelcome, a request for sexual favors and other conduct of sexual nature to include physical or verbal conduct. You must explain to your management that you have only caught the hand of the person to show the right pallet for unloading as the female employee was unloading stuff in the wrong pallet. Your intention was only to show the right pallet for unloading the stuff and there was no sexual conduct involved. Further, the victim was supposed to inform you directly that the conduct was unwelcome and you must stop it. If she informed you to stop this conduct and you did not stop then she could complain about sexual harassment to higher management. You can contact the local office of EEOC to seek guidance if your conduct came under the purview of sexual harassment or not.
