Confused NEW YORK Co. VIOLATES LICENSING AGREEMENT

My company signed a licensing agreement to be the sole distributor of a range of products in South Africa for a New York based company. This company seems to be a legitimate company as the president is a celebrity chef and they are linked with the various other organisations of credibility. I have paid this company for the initial order of products, have my domain registered and am getting absolutely nowhere with this company. The vice president for operations keeps promising to send my order but nothing happens. What recourse do I have ?

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them if need be (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office.
