Partnership dispute

I am a 40% shareholder in property developing company. The other partner 60% shareholder came to me wanted to sell one of our plots of land, i did not, and suggested i rather buy him out of the land. He agreed verbally and i matched the offer from the 3rd party. 2 hours later he calls back and says he wants more money, I refuse and say iam only prepared to match the offer on the table. 2 weeks later i find out he has sold the land without my consent or signature. This has resulted in bad feeling between us, and I now find out he has excluded me from access to the bank accounts and i can no longer even get a cheque book without his permission he has also stopped my salary. What our my rights with regard to the sale of the land etc and bank account access.

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against him (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to his behavior...
