1st Jan : A makes an offer to B by letter sent 11:00 a.m
2nd Jan : B received the letter at 12:00 noon 3rd Jan : A sends a letter revoking his offer at 2:00 p.m 3rd Jan : B sends his acceptance by letter at 4:00 p.m 3rd Jan : B sends a letter revoking his acceptance at 8:00 p.m 4th Jan : A receives B's acceptance of 3rd Jan by 4:00 p.m 4th Jan : B receives A's letter of 3rd Jan at 6:00 p.m. 5th Jan : A receives B's revocation of 3rd Jan at 9:00 a.m. Which offers/revocations are effective / valid? • Communication of offer • Revocation of Offer • Communication of Acceptance • Revocation of Acceptance Is there a valid contract? |
