my Sister and her friend wanted to start a business. they found a place and have neogociated the price, it took about 3weeks to neogociated because the owners of the place were held between 3 people..
anyways, they finally settled on the price late sunday night Sept 20th. On Monday morning, they called my sisters friend and said that they sold it to someone else because they offered a higher price so to my knowledge, isnt a verbal contract considered a binding law if both parties agreed to something? can my my sister and her friend pursue this in court if they still want that place? what if the owners already sold and signed the documents over to the new bidder? what are her options? This takes places in the city of Richmond, B.C. THANX |

Not really...if they were agreeing to sign a written document, they needed to actually sign normally, unfortunately...
