Thumbs Up Re: Biltmore whos who Scam

I wanted to take this opportunity and write about how happy I was to be selected by Biltmore Who's Who. My membership has been such a successful event. I have been actively networking and have had immediate success by using the website with about 10 or more members as well as members in my area. I listed it on my company profile and my clients keep asking me about it. They are very impressed with this honor and it gives me strong credibility in my field.

Thank you again for all your help and support. I really am so excited about being a member and look forward to more.

I believe that I am a victim of the Biltmore Scam. I was told that my 2 year membership fee included everything including the registry. Three weeks later I am charged another $199. For What? I looked at the package they sent me, and it says "As a reminder, your final payment of $199 for the registry will be charged on the 15th of the month following date of registration" I never authorized this charge!! This charge was never disclosed to me when I was on the phone with Cassandra Miller, who also gave me her phone number and extension if I ever had any questions. Well, I called the phone number 954-893-0114 x2800 several times yesterday, and got the the voicemail every single time. I tried every option and the extension 2850 for questions about the invoice, and left 2 messages. No reply..That's because they got my $400, and they don't want to deal with me now!

Yeh, everything looks real official. Don't sign the voucher for the plane tickets, you will probably be signing to authorize another charge that you don't know about. The supposedly free plane tickets require you to stay for a minimum number of nights at some unknown hotel. What rewards? You don't get a discount card or membership card to use at the stores. They want you to supply your name & address again online!! Why? If anyone is getting any benefits from this so called company. Let me know. Any member ship I ever had supplied a membership card to use for discounts, supplied a member listing FREE, and sent an invoice in the mail BEFORE getting your payment. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!!!! All looks official etc, but they are RIPPING YOU OFF!!!

I just got off the phone with one of these jokers. You send in their reply "application" and then they call you non-stop from several different numbers. When they get you on the phone, they make you feel all "warm and fuzzy" and tell you how great you are. Then at the end of the call they offer you the Platinum Package (789.00 lifetime registration plus an additional 199.00 deferred payment), or the Gold Package (589.00 3 year registration plus an additional 199.00 deferred payment). That's crazy just to put some blurb about me in a book. When I told her I couldn't afford the package she offered me a cheaper package that costs 389.00+ (at this point I kind of stopped listening). I told her I couldn't afford that at this time either, and she basically hung up on me. The person that made me all warm and fuzzy when she thought she could make a sale hung up on me and ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if this is truly a scam or not, but the prior posts in this thread don't really make me feel any better about it. The details on how their services work are vague at best and the prior posts make me feel like their own sales people are trying to sell it here too. They all sound the same (check the BBB, it's done wonders for my business, etc.) without any real details on how the service has worked for them.
