I work for a private school and have signed a contract which states I have to have my children enrolled in this school in order to keep my employment which I have had for 7 years and just this year they put this in the contract. I cannot afford to keep my children enrolled in private school so now they have fired me saying "breach of contract" mind you there are other employees who do not have their children enrolled there. Is this legal?

It is a bit odd but not illegal. You did not have to agree to it at the time and if you were fired then, you may have had some better arguments if you had already decided to withdraw the kids.
