Default Car dealer wants car back after 2 wks

I purchased a used car from a dealer on 7/6/09. I went there for "in house" (like a buy here pay here) financing.

After about 2 hours, they stated that they got me financed through a finance company instead. I never filled out an application for the finance co, their finance manager did. I only filled an in house app. So I sign all the paperwork, give them my $3500.00 down pymt in cash and go home in my car. The next day the finance co calls to say that they called and verified my employment and was told that I had only been on the job for 2 mon. I told that it is correct, she then told me that I put down 7 yrs on my app. I told her I never filled out an app. She just kind of laughed and said OK we were just wondering and wanted to clarify. I called the dealership and questioned them about it. The salesman put me on hold to check on it, got back on the phone and assured me that it was a pen error on their end and that they had already talked with the finance co and everyth! ing was taken care of. I returned the next day to drop off my trade in vehicle. (I live an hour and a half away). On 7/17/09 (11 days later) a salesman from the dealership calls and leaves a message on my answering machine stating that the financing did not go through because of the discrepancy in the length of time on my job and another vehicle that I have, and that I needed to return the car. I called the finance co and they stated that I had to be on my job for 6 mon and that they called the auto lot that I have my other vehicle through and because of late pymts, that they were not going to finance me. I called the dealership back and was transfered to the finance manager, who was now not such a nice guy, I asked him why all of this was happening and he told me because I tried to hide a vehicle from them...The salesman and that finance mgn knew about my other car, we talked about it the day I got my new vehicle from them, and there was no place on their app asking for any of that information. (The finance co. done an over the phone interview with me a few days after my purchase and I told them about all my other loans then). When I told the finance mgn this and that the job discrepancy is his fault, he became irrate and stated yelling telling me to return the vehicle tonight! I told him that I was not driving all that way this evening and that if they wanted the car they could come and get it and bring my trade in and $3500.00 cash back with them when they did. He stated that he was calling the police and hung up on me. I called back asked to speak to the dealership manager, he told me to stay in the vehicle for the weekend and to just return it on Monday. I told him that I really liked the car and wanted to keep it, couldnt they do someother financing or couldnt we do the inhouse financing like we were going to do originally? He stated that they dont do inhouse financing for someone that lives that far away (nothing was every said about this when I went there that first day and they clearly knew where I lived! then). I had also looked at a vehicle that was at another location of theirs in Indianapolis and they gave me directions to get there from Terre Haute. Any way I need to know if I have to return the vehicle or are they obligated to find my financing alsewhere or do the inhouse financing for me. I heard that they only have 10 days to ask for the car back? I have bad credit so getting my own financing is out of the question. please help they want the car back today.
