Contract Taken
We are a company out of California. We had a signed contract with a general contractor on a job. The general contractor notified us that the owner had taken that scope of work out of the plans (that we were contracted on) and that that part of the contract was now going trough the owner. We spoke with the owner. At first they said they didn't have anyone for that part of the contract, now all of the sudden they said that they have had a company hired for the work. We want to sue the owner do we have a case?

What did your contract say? If there was a solid contract you can sue them. If the contract allowed them to cancel then there is not much you can do.
Have World Law review it if need be--they may provide you some detailed advice if need be. |
