Angry employment law

i recently left my job and left my time sheet at work with what i was owed a week in hand the week i worked and 3days holiday all was well. 2weeks later i get a call from my boss and she says i did not do a week in hand and all i would get is 1 week and 3 days.when i first started she didn't take my bank or personal details for at least two weeks and 3 days.
when i filled in the form she told me to write the date i filled the form in rather than the date i started work ie started 6dec 06 first pay 8dec 06 only for 3days. now it`s 2 1\2yrs on and i didn`t keep any paper work, she can only give date i first got paid and claims she paid me as i worked and sometime after started doing e week in hand. i did start the same time as another male who left a year ago but can not get the date he first got paid which would prove im right. it`s only 1 weeks money but it`s the principle of the thing, after 2 1\2yrs of good service i feel very angry and helpless. can someone help me? is there anything i can do about this?

Default Re: employment law

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state dept of labor office.
