Lightbulb CO -BUYER FAILS TO KEEP HIS END OF CONTRACT

My ex-boyfriend and I were living together at the time. He wanted to trade his 2003 Dodge Dakota on a 2006 Ford F-150. He could not get credit to do this without a Co-Buyer. He was making 30,000 a year but had bad credit. I was only making 15,000 a year but had good credit. At this time we had a verbal agreement that he would make the payments on time and keep the insurance current. August of 2007 we broke up. I asked him to have the truck refinanced in his name or trade it off by the first of the year. He agreed to do so. In Oct. and Nov., the bank was calling me saying the payments were 15 days late. I called Mr. Forshey both times. Then in Dec. the bank called again, 15 days late. I called Mr. Forshey again he had nothing to say. Again in Feb. the bank called me, I called Mr. Forshey .At this time he expected me to come get the truck and start paying the payments, and also that he had dropped the insurance. I called the bank and explained the situation. They told me I should do a deferment at that time for the Jan. payment to save my credit. February passed and no payment was made. In March I was forced to get the truck or ruin my credit. I went to his place of work and got the truck.
Mr. Forshey had put 11,000 miles on the truck in 7 mths. The stench of cigarette smoke is unbearable, both devaluing the truck. He had also taken the trailer hitch off and mirrored license plate and mud mats all which I had purchased. These items were valued at 420.00 dollars.
I am asking for the 4, 775.90.
1. This total includes 3309.90 that was added to the 2006 Ford loan, from his Dodge Dakota that was traded in on the 2006 Ford truck. Which is his previous debt owed from his 2003 Dodge Dakota. I should not have to pay for his debt owed on his previous vehicle. This will help me to come closer to the true value of the 2006 Ford 150 so I can sell this vehicle and clear this debt without to much hardship.
2. A down payment of 500.00 for the 2006 Ford 150 loan.
3. 350.00 for the trailer hitch.
4. 40.00 for the mirrored license plate.
5. 30.00 for the mud mats.
6. Taxes of 246.94 taxes due on his 2003 Dodge Dakota that had to be paid to put license on the 2006 Ford 150.
7. Taxes of 300.00 for the past year of 2007 while 2006 Ford truck was in his possession.
8. Court cost of?

I am not asking for wear and tear cost of the truck that Mr. Forshey had accumulated. He put 29,300 miles on the 2006 Ford 150 truck and numerous scratches on the truck. The truck also needs new brakes and tires. My credit rating is very important to me and Mr. Forshey has jeopardized my good credit rating by not making payments on a vehicle loan specifically bought for him.
