Default Contactor stole my roofers

Area of law: (Not sure which area)
Country: United States of America
State: Texas

I was hired to do a roofing job from a nationwide roofing company. At the
completion of this job he argued the amount owed to me and decided to cut me
out all together and pay my roofers direct. Is this legal? Can he cut the
sub-contractor out of the middle and pay my roofers what I was going to pay
them just to save money? I need help soon.

no he cannot--sue him in small claims or other court; the contract and agreement was with you!
