Hi - I was a tutor/reader/scribe for the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Colorado. My client, who verbally agreed to take two classes in the spring semester, dropped her classes for a full-time job leaving me unemployed with no notice. I have an authorization for services for 150 hours divided equally between the two job codes for the period of February through the end of April. My client dropped her classes in the middle of February so I was only paid for the first half of February. Do I have any recourse either with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation or my client to fulfill the terms of that authorization for services?
Thanks! |

If it was a full contract and they dropped for no good reason you can sue them for damages and lost profit on the actual contract yes...or they may settle.
