Did the work now the customer cannot pay
We do vehicle graphics.We had a customer bring us a large truck without tags to do a lettering and graphics on his truck.We did the work in a couple of days now he cannot pay for the job done.Our policy if the truck was not picked up in 3 days we charge a storage fee.It has been 33 days and he wants to have a personal guaranttee written up that he will pay us within 30 days after we give him the truck back.He just got tags for it but we would not let him have it until the bill is paid.What is our recourse?

You can sue him in small claims.
Also many if not most states do allow for a service lien that lets you keep it until he pays. Check your state's rules. |
