Contractor In Iraq
I signed a contract with my employer to work in Iraq. After I arrived in country and started working, the company changed the amount they agreed to pay me. The contract stated that the hazzard pay was listed on an attachment. The attachment is being considered a company policy which "is subject to change" and therefore I am getting paid less than what was originally promised. The state the contract was signed in is an "at will" contract state.
Do I have an recourse? Can the company fire me if I pursue the original contractual agreement? |

If you felt the amount was fixed and you can show that, you can sue them for that amount or even quit and sue since they breached the contract.
World Law's lawyers could also probably intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page. |
