My LLC was ordered dissolved, my partner's lawyer totally confused thejudge about the buyout right, making it seem like "anyone" could buy the assets of the LLC, vs. my buying his member interest.
I need to do as the (California) statute provides and initiate in a different court, and I want to do it in the most low-key manner possible, because I want to assert my rights, not ask if I have any. I do. So I don't want to file a complaint against anyone, what other type of "first paper" so to speak, would I use in seeking a stay of dissolution? Thanks! |

Well you may have to appeal the judge's decision--you normally cannot override that decision with another proceeding on the same issue.
