I have a client that is a publicly traded company that has offered to pay an employee of mine under the table. I have an email to support this stating the following from the CEO to my employee, "I will make sure you make some DOUGH on this...personally!" Does this constitute any SEC violation? I am going into a breach of contract with this company as they have cancelled our contract and are refusing to pay the cancellation fee. Part of what they were doing was trying to hire my employees so that they could get the work at a lower overall cost to them but when my employees turned them down, they moved against us in a different way. HELP!
