Default Corporation help: I signed a lease for the building.

i have a legal question i was in a buisness i incorporated in 2005 ive sinced closed it up the problem is that i signed a lease in 2006 for the building does that lease fall under the corporation the landlord is trying to sue me for 12 grand.please help
