Default Pre-petition claims

If I file a lawsuit to collect charges owed and not paid (past due) by a company prior to their filing bankruptcy, does that elevate the status of the claim after bankruptcy is filed? This would be a general unsecured claim otherwise.

Normally no, it will be with the others unsecured.
