Confused will a judge give a new trial because of ethics violation by a lawyer?

After agreeing to a small clims court setterment, i found out that the defendants lawyer had violated ethics laws by taking the defendants case after I (the plainiff) had previously consulted with him about this case. I had confided everything to him and he showed up the second day of the trial without any warning to me that he was taking the defendants. He called me out into the hallway just before the trial started and lied to me saying that I would surely loose this case and he demanded that i give him the bounced check that I was suing for payment.
He scared & intmidated me so bad that when he ordered me to go back into the courtroom i did so. He went up to the judge and told him something and then the judge ask me if i agreed i said yes so i could get away from that hateful lawyer. the lawyer kept the check i was sueing about.

I want to know, please, if i can sue the lawyer for violating my constutional right to a fair trial... there was no trial only a verbal attack in the hallway by the lawyer i had consulted with before.

You may want to first file a complaint with the state bar.

If he loses there you may consider other actions.
