Confused what are my rights? I hope someone can help

If I am not posting in the right Thread part of this please someone tell me where to post? Thank you

Hello My Name is Nancy M I am trying to find out how long I have to hold on to my oldest girls things. She moved out a month a go the night she left she pushed and shoved me and her 65 year old grand mother she had her boy friend and his mother and 4 others came with them to get her.

She then sent the cops back to get something's of hers on the 21st it was gifts for his family but she was told before she came to come with cops and U. Hal it to get all her things.

To call and let me know when she was coming she did not call till she got to my house I was away right then. I had to come back to my house from my moms house on that one thing I want to know first was did the cops who was city cops I don't live in the City cops had rights here I am I right? She moved in to the city so when she called that who came with her but she did not come with the U. Hal she was told to come with.

Then one other thing they was going to let her and her boyfriends mother go in to my house all over her having a Key thank God I got knew locks she was unable to get in any way then I want to know what my rights is about her things for that day the cops give her a week to call me and get a set time to get her things.

They told her she had to come in the day time she was wanting to come at like 9 or 10 at night then. But she was told to get a U. Hal the first time she came she only as I said came to get her boy friends family's gifts what I want to know is how long do I have to keep her stuff for. When she has moved her mail to there Address. She done that Jan 6th 08 I really want to see what my rights are about this I also wanted to say I did not feel it was right of the cops who came to let her try to get in my house when I was not here. I was just right down the road not far away but OK so maybe she had a key to the old lock but this woman she moved in with and her family I don't know them never meet them.

My oldest girl went to work with them she only knew them from work her and the boy started dating she is 18 yes but she lived in my house till the Dec 18th any way. I just really want to know them things right there. if you can help me on my rights about her things and if it was right of the cops to let her try to go in with I was not home?

Thank you Nancy M

If she is still living there or has things there you may need to evict her to be safe.

If she admits she has moved out you can give 30 days notice and remove her items if need be. Inform the police what you are doing as a precaution.

She has had her mail sent to where she is living now she does not come home she has not lived there in a month and so many days now.

Today before she came to my house to get something she was told to come with a U Hal it and the cops to get her things she came with the cops and her boyfriends mom and in her van.

As I said She was told and the night she left my she told called the cops to come back and get her pocket book she told the cops we would not let her have it that was a lie but any way We give it to the cops he told me she wanted all her things to go home the next day.

Pack them up and put them out where they want get wet there in my garage
she does not have anything in side my house the cops that came with her that day was City cops.

I do not live in the city they had no rights there if I am right? I do not know they let her try to go in my house when I was not home they said she had a key but it did not fit I said your right I got new locks I was told to by the cops the night before.

But she has been gone from my house a month now she was gone a month the 18 th but the cops that came with her give her a week to get her stuff out. Then the 6th of this month she had her mail moved to her boyfriends house where she is living as of right now she just has not had it put her on drives license. That all that she has not had fixed on. SO now what? Can I do?
