Question breaking lease aggreement

my mother has been ill for some time of numorous things. she does not wrk,and is unable to wrk if she wanted to. i have a 1yr lease aggreement at the apartment i stay at, i need to break my lease so that i can move in with her and help out as much as i can, i have a doctors letter saying i am her primary caregiver. Will this letter help in breaking my lease?

That will not be a reason normally.

But the landlord may agree to work out something, and also you may help ensure a new renter...that could smooth it over.
