My attorney is hiding from me...

I've hired an attorney via WLD on a civil case. The case is in the court at discovery/production stage, the trial is in about 7 weeks.

Looks like I've lost communication with my lawyer, my email are not answered, my calls are not returned. The dialog was not prompt and accurate before, but now I got more than nearly two months of silence and have no idea if anyone still takes care of my case.
The attorney fee was paid in a lump sum for all pretrial work.

What does common experience say about this situation? Is it normal for a lawyer to ignore client's questions and avoid any dialog if he believes those cannot be helpfull for the case?
What should I do in this situation, just wait for any response or do something? If they just dropped the case, should they at least inform me about this?
