Default Dodgers Owners Frank McCourt Takes On His Former Law Firm
Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt is on the warpath against his former law firm, Bingham McCutchen, alleging he has a malpractice claim against the firm that could net damages as high as "hundreds of millions of dollars."

The firm struck first in the dispute. Earlier this year, Bingham filed suit in Massachusetts, seeking a declaratory judgment that the firm is not liable for any losses McCourt might suffer as a result of the pending divorce action.

A report from the AmLaw Daily on that earlier Bingham filing, which includes a claim that McCourt still owes Bingham hundreds of thousands of dollars that he has refused to pay.
