Default Pregnaunt with Doctors note, Judge makes me appear

On May 12, 2006 I was forced by the judge to appear at a custody case, which I had already sent in a doctors letter stating that I was not to be that far away from our hospital. The judge would not allow for a contiuation till the child was born, consquently the child was born May 14, 2006, 2 days after court due to high levels of stress for the judgement set forth that day. Is there anything I can do?

You can't really sue the court for that normally but you could file a judicial complaint with the state commission that oversees the judges
