How much can an attorney take in contingent fees when his client is suing the United States of America(Veterans Administration) as the defendent? I know it is different than in a medical malpractice claim against a private hospital. Can you help with this question?

It sometimes varies but 30 to 45 percent is the range; what is the attorney suggesting? You can get second and third opinions or offers.
