My wife said she wanted a divorce and contacted an attorney, so I called a friend who handles divorce. What I didn't know was his partner was handling my wife's case. My attorney immediately went over and told her attorney that I called and put me behind the 8 ball. Not only did my attorney not help me, but he helped the other party.
He didn't think I would find out and my wife's attorney said since they are partners, he had to tell I called. I am unsure they are partners in the sense they share revenues. I think they just share office expenses. Do I have any recourse? I'm not looking for much, but I would like to undo the damage done to me. Can I go to a judge and have my wife's attorney removed from the case? Just to get us back on an even foot? |
