Lawyer being negligent: He doesn't answer my emails and is always busy.
I have a court process about a inheritance running in other European country, I have there a lawyer working in this case the problem is that the last 4 months he don't answer to my emails and when I phone the receptionist always tell me he is busy. What shoul I do?

The best way to escape the problem is that visit the office of the lawyer and ask him to return your brief and hire another lawyer. But, you might have to pay the invoice raised by your lawyer in excercising this option. But I would suggest to change your Lawyer.

I have had a matter since 2001 with my lawyers....never before have I have about case ABANDONEMENT.... all I knew is that the matter reached the stage of normal course...now other things have come up and we need stuff from that matter I hear about this abandonement....who is to blame for this?What do we have lawyers for?
