Lazy Lawyer = Child Endangerment

We're in South Carolina. (yay)
My "husband" filed for seperation 2 years ago. His ex is psycho; to say the least. She has abused, neglected, & confused her children to no end. She now has (as of a few months ago) molested her 3 yr old. We have her on tape ADMITTING that she told her it was ok & showed her where it was "ok" bc there was only nerve endings and no "exploding orgasm"...this is a 3 YR OLD!!! (& sadly to say this is only 1 thing she's done..there's WAY more).
My point is that his lawyer was paid 2 years ago when hired. He has been lazy, waited til last minute for returning phone calls, etc. etc.
We had a d.s.s. investigation opened; great deal of good that did. They dismissed the case (only opened after I threatened them with media & everything else) after supposively listening to the tapes (NOT)...as "unfounded". WOW. I knew D.S.S. was a little slow, crappy, whatever you want to call it- but I didnt' know they're useless.
During this time we asked his lawyer to do SOMETHING. File for an emergency hearing, apply for a restraining order (which he can't get bc he's still "married" to her but I could bc I'm not-obviously). He informed us-also a judge told us this; that he would have to get an order of protection from family court in our court hearing. We could not get an emergency hearing bc "there isn't a good enough reason". This is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard in my life. His lawyer basically is pushing us around trying to get all the work done for him. The children have been in IMMINENT danger a FEW times w/ her but we could do NOTHING bc of the original court order stating there was "split custody". THank GOD it said nothing about phone calls. We now have a private no. and let them call her randomly.

What do we need to take to court w/ us next thursday?
Is there anything we could do to take his lawyer to an Ethics board? He has put our kids in danger too much.
Do we need to call D.S.S. in Texas? (we heard they took over S.C. D.S.S. bc sc has been so slack in their work...hmmm)
HELP US PLEASE!!!
