Atty. giving MY finacial info to my ex!?!

I just found out yest. that some "debt settlement" firm contacted my never- married-to-abusive-ex about MY credit card status. As we agreed, he pays our credit cards and things have sort of worked out. Then this guy calls and gives X info on my new credit cards that I had to take out(I moved out 5 mos. ago), the amounts I owe on them, my credit score, and who knows what else! X now knows more about my finances than I do! Plus he opened up a big old can of worms that will be taken out on ME!!! This attorney told X that he could help decrease the cc amounts and turn them into one smaller payment. This lead to a huge nasty arguement where X, as always, did all the 'talking'. And X is actually thinking about doing this!
Now:1. I had our phone number put on that 800-do-not-solicit list, twice to be sure. I'd like to contact them about this co. but not sure how.
2. I'd like to personally call this attorney, using a lot of legal jargon about all the laws he's broken, what could happen if I were to persue this, and would he like to compromise by doing everything he told X he could do and do it for FREE! Please tell me I do have rights!?!
