Confused Did I break the law?

Area of law: Criminal law
Country: United States of America
State: Florida

I was arrested in a prostitution sting. My only offer to the agent was
to strip for me, while I sat on the other side of the room for $80. She
repeatedly tried to offer her \"menu\" of different sex activities and
I repeatedly told her I was not interested in those, only for her to
strip.
Did I break the law, did they have the right to arrest me and keep in
jail for 24 hours. Thanks for any help.

In Florida as far as we can see you cannot pay somebody to expose themselves except in premises authorized for that, and there is a statute that says so.

But you could try to get around it I guess.

800.03 Exposure of sexual organs.

It is unlawful to expose or exhibit one's sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner, or to be naked in public except in any place provided or set apart for that purpose. Violation of this section is a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. A mother's breastfeeding of her baby does not under any circumstance violate this section.
