is this illegal

i was recently arrested for a call from my wife saying i was violent and loud. and we had a restraining order to where i was not able to harras her but i could be around her. The police took me to jail but did not read me my rights. they were supposely have took me because of the call. They told my mom they took me to let the drugs ware off. When she checked for my court date it said that my case was pending. They kept me in jail for 2 days. Released me a day before my court date. Now when i went to court they dont have me nowhere on the calander. as if they never had a case and i was jailed for no reason. what can i do?

If there is no further case it may be best to just end it there.

And avoid any such contact with her --at all.

hey, i m not a lawyer. this is what i know. your wife have a restraining order on you. it means stay away from her. i do not know the detail but that is restraining order do. police have the right to arrest you if you are violating any of the order. they do not have to read you your right unless they want to talk to you more. i m not sure how long they can keep you in jail but they can hold you until your next court day. Then again, they can drop all the charges.
