EEK! fringerprint laws in texas????? help!!!

They might have my fingerprints on on a picture frame that had pictures stolen out of it. Yes I stole the pictures, it was at my ex husbands house so being jealous (of who was in them) I stole it. Well his girlfriend called the cops and had them fringerprint. It's been about 3 days and I can't go to jail for being stupid I have kids. To me that doesn't seem like something on the top of their list but i am not sure. If ANYONE CAN HELP LET ME KNOW!!!!! PLEASE I AM SCARED!

AND IF THEY DO GET MY PRINTS WILL THEY COME GET ME OR WILL WE GO TO COURT?

They would likely come talk to you first.

If that happens you should ask for a lawyer to be present and then have the lawyer handle it.

Best not to talk by yourself or try to deal with that alone.
