Confused really need advice, please help!!!!!

my brother owns a car and its under a cousins name.. he lent the car to a frd and the frd was arrested i think for selling a kilo of cocaine to someone, thats what the police told our cousin, not really sure.. anyways they went to my cousins house asking question, my cousin cooperated with them, he even let them search his home, keep in mind my cousin doesnt even know who my bro lent the car to, so its not much he can say. the next morning they returned the car to my cousin. the same night they returned the car they went back to my cousins home asking more question, it seems the person my bro lent the car to, mentioned my bros name, i think he is implicating him. i encouraged my cousin to get a lawyer in case they keep harrasing him, he did and they stop bothering. but the second time they went by his house they were looking for my bro. what do you think is the course of action my bro should take and can he be charged for letting his car to his frd?, even though since they returned the car my feeling is what ever his frd did, wasnt in the car..?? also can my cousin be charged for any wrong doing?

thx for ur time answering this question!!

Lending a vehicle to a friend is not a crime; your brother should gather evidence and cooperate with investigators.
