I wish to inform you that you may contest your MIP ticket on the ground that you were never given a breatholizer or a BAC test. In the absence of such test you may argue that you should not be held guilty. Further, you can show evidence of persons whom you have met near the time of your MIP ticket to show to the Court that you were not liable.

I removed your phone number, because it is a really bad idea to post that kind of personal information on an anonymous internet forum - you never know who's going to get hold of that number and what they will do with it. In addition, our forum members do not CALL other forum members to give them advice.

I will tell you that an MIP charge DOES NOT require you to have a breathalyzer or BAC test. As a minor, there is NO acceptable limit for ANY amount of alcohol in your system. And you don't necessarily have to be drinking - the charge includes actually POSSESSING the alcohol (just having a bottle of beer in your hand, or within your reach and/or control counts, too - whether or not you were actually drinking it is not relevant).

Since we don't know the actual circumstances under which you were charged, and you are claiming that you are not guilty of the charge, there's really not much we can do to help you here. Quite honestly, since this is a criminal charge, it sounds like you need an attorney. You are welcome to contact our WORLD Law Direct team and get a consult from them: Ask A Lawyer - WORLD Law Direct

Absolutely. If it were YOU putting your home phone number in here, I'd do the same thing. Kind of makes you wonder why you needed to see their phone number. You could always contact them privately.

What gets posted here on an internet forum often gets "farmed" by those search engines and published on the internet. Whereas someone might want one or two people to get his number, there are others who might take that and do some unspeakable things with it. People rarely realize that their information actually becomes completely public.
