Disorderly conduct itself is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison and up to $1,000 in fines. Only an attorney can advise you what the likely penalty might be for a first-time offense.

I just was reading about the grand jury etc and it says the DA only gets involved when someone is arrested for a felony that could result in a sentence of more than a year mine is a freaking misdemeanor and 7 traffic tickets so why in the hell can I not find out when court is and/or how much my tickets are? This is idiotic...the DA won't even tell me what to do...the public defender says they can't help me unless I am indicted. The grand jury meets on July 8th I believe but the DA doesn't even seem to care about my case...seems to be a waste of time to me...I guess I am just supposed to wait for a court date?
