Confused Texas pulled over after attempted drug buy.

I thought i was talking to a guy i get **** from and went to the store to meet him, he didnt show so i left and got pulled over after leaving the store. They said they new what i was doing and made it clear i was talking to them all day. They found prescription ibuprophen in the car that wasnt in my name and said i was going to jail unless i cooperated with them and do like 3 or 4 buys and it wouldnt go on my record. They gave me something to sign with a phone number to call tomorrow to start the snitching. Is this legal? What should i do. Its my first time being busted for any kind of drugs and what kind of time am i looking at if i dont snitch? Im terrified as hell as nothing like this has ever happened. Please give all the advice you can. I need help.

I wish to inform you that if prescription was not in your name then you can challenge charges against you. In this regard you can have medical test that you do not consume drugs as an evidence with you. As a procedure police must investigate the charge after which they will frame the charges against you. After this court trial will start.

There is no explanation for Affa. He/she comes on here and posts replies to every question but never responds and his replies are typically bad.

There's something very odd here. I wouldn't do a thing. If they'd had the power you'd have been arrested on the spot.

Go to rehab.

I would call a criminal lawyer immediately and have him represent you with the police. That will first, give you the straight facts about any criminal liability you may have or NOT have and whether it would be in your best interests to cooperate with the police.

Also you will have a third party, your lawyer then, to negotiate with the police and get any agreement and arrangement clear. You will have the straight scoop and whatever protection the lawyer can arrange for you, plus you will be informed of your rights to cooperate or not.

Police use under cover operatives and paid informants all the time to bust criminals, particular drug dealers. "Snitching" is a third grade word and mindset. Think "undercover operative." "Agent." That's how much law enforcement works.
