Did not check MS specifically, but if a person is arrested "without" a warrant, and still held in custody, a probable cause hearing must take place within 48 hours, per the federal constitution.

If arrested WITH a warrant, I have seen some states have a MAX 72 hour arraignment time if still, held in custody, yes, but again, did not check.

Any further than a 3 day hold without a PC hearing/Arraignment, I have never seen in any state Rules of Criminal Procedure this is true.
