Grounds for Public Intoxication and Tesspassing

Hello,

I had an incident were a group of people were drunk and i was the sober one of the group. A cop pulled over and being in a bad neighbourhood and that it was 3 am, we had 4 cop cruisers now at our location.

My question is, they performed what i think is a 208? In pollice code? Anyways, they took my ID and all my info down and said to me they wrote it up as Public intoxication and tresspassing, being that we were at a plaza. Is this right considering I was completely sober AND the fact that the plaza had a 24/h convienance store which i was constantly purchasing water at for the people i was with, to help keep them hydrated and to flush all the alcohol out of their system. I was then told if i was caught back at that plaza within a year i would be charged.

Help.

That is not right. Collect your facts and evidence and the judge will likely throw that out.
