EEK! Neighbor Arrested

My neighbor got arrested for Wanton Endangerment and Criminal Mischief which were both misdemeanors.
He is a real ass and trying to keep this little event on the down low and doesn't want anyone to know. He deserved what he got.
I wanna send notice to the people who live on this street that he was arrested.
I'm the person who took the warrant out.
Can the idiot do anything legally to me for telling the neighbors by mail that he got arrested?

No--that is a factual event and it can be reported and others can be informed.

Big Grin Re: Neighbor Arrested

Thank You,

OK, moving along I have another question.
The property he lives on belongs to his mom and dad by deed. Paid in full no leins. No clue who the property is insured by.
The warrant was a result of him intentionally firing skyrockets onto my property that burned my deck and went on the roof which could have been big problems and one barely missed me. <Wanton Endangerment>.
I poured water on the deck and ended that. No damage on the roof.
I saw him intentionally aim and fire the missles over here.
He was arrested and charged accordingly above.
Question:
I am wondering if I have a cause for action against the property owners for whatever might apply in this matter. I was thinking I could get them twisted-up in this to make the impact more memorable for the family.

Not really--only the culprit is liable.

He is denying that he had any fireworks and had nothing to do with the incident.

I saw him do it.

He is trying to say it was the people across the street but it's just impossible for them to hit the back of the house from across the street.

I have the 3 rockets fired and pictures of the damage.

This will be in criminal court in about 30 days.

Can he say that he just didn't do it and walk away?

Seems like I have more evidence.

Can he just deny he did it and walk away?
How am I gonna nail this clown?

The court will listen to your testimony and his. The more you can show in detail or probide witnesses etc., the better it will be.

I was told that the District Attorney will ask me what I would like to see happen as far as the punishment goes.
I guess that means a plea deal.
I don't know what to ask for so what should I plea for in this case to avoid dragging it out. It looks like I have enough evidence to go over the top.

I want 30 days probated for two years with a fine. Restitution to me for the damage to my deck which was submitted into evidence.

I want probation to hang over his head.

Does this sound reasonable or should I go for more?
What is the MAX on each charge?
I'm trying to be prepared.
TIA

Yes that does seem reasonable and obtainable.

You may want to give call to your local DA; they will tell you on the spot.
