Exclamation Charged for assault on a police officer.

I was involved in a incident where an officer brutalized me in front of my home. As I was sitting on the hood of my girlfriends vehicle, I told the officer "go do your job and get out of here. Take your uniform off and we'll see how tough you are" He then ran up to me and said I was getting arrested. I raised my wrists up and said "for what?" At that very moment the officer rushed into me with his hands toward me and took ahold of my throat with both of his hands and he started strangling me. He picked me up in the air and slammed me into the bushes/wall 4 or 5 feet away from my girlfriends vehicle. My legs were dangling in the air while my upper body was in the bushes. He then threw a left punch on my right cheek and said "Stop resisting arrest." when I clearly had my hands raised and I repeatedly said "im not resisting. My hands are up." The officer then put me in a front type head lock choke and he literaly picked me up in the air once again, walked back next to my girlfriends vehicle while i was still in the air and he slammed me multiple times on top of my girlfriends hood then later slammed me and my forehead on the road. During this whole time my hands were raised and I wasent fighting back. The officer also stated that he gets off at a certain time and that he would be back to kick mine and my friends a**. The officer was also calling me names such as "ugly ape", "*****" and "c*nt." Im being charged for assault on a PO, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Is this right, what should I do?

I wish to inform you that use of force or resisting arrest is a crime. In this regard you may argue that your actions were in self defense and therefore were just to save yourself. You may show acts of police officer of beating you in your self defense argument. You may also state that you have never resisted arrest instead you have only asked for grounds of your arrest. You will be required to show that there being no reason for arrest therefore actions of police officer were not required and were violating your fundamental right to life. Your girlfriend can give evidence in your support.
