Promise To Appear -- court hearing
I had a warrant for my arrest for missing my court date for my littering ticket. So I got a Promise To Appear. I have paid the fine since then so do I still need to go to the court date on the Promise to Appear?

Yes -- absolutely. Missing your court date -- even having paid the fine -- could result in the issuance of a bench warrant for your arrest. The bottom line is unless you have it in writing that you are excused, you should definitely show up in court. Hope things work out for you. AJJ
