Theft @ Liquor Store

This case is in Canada.

I quit my job without giving any notice at the Liquor store. Then, my store manager set me up, and call the police that i am stealing from them and got caught on the tape (She set me up on my last day of work, which i am so stupid and do exactly she ask me to).

Now, Police keep calling me and ask about my current address and where do i work. and wanting to meet me in person. I asked criminal defensed lawyer, They told me that i have no obligation to answer any question or meeting them face to face, unless they have a warrants to arrest me. So, i ignore the phone call, (the police never left a message to return call).

I am afraid, and quit my current job and everything and move to next province.

I just wonder if there is a warrant to arrest me?

If i need to do another criminal record for my new job, is it going to appear not clean?

I am hopeless and scare and don't know what to do with no job and running away. please help.

I really hoping to face my nightmare, but my lawyer said if i meet them face to face, they might arrest me right in the spot, and i will need a lawyer (which i can't really afford to flight the case).
